Yorkshire Terrier Breeding - Knowing What To Do When You Breed Your Yorkshire Terrier

Recently I bred my Yorkshire terrier. She is two years old and I thought that marijuana test time industrial injury right. I own Prozac prescription male as well, so it seemed like everything would go along smoothly. First, I went to my veterinarian and made sure that both of my dogs were in good health. When he gave the all clear sign I went home and waited until she went into heat.

I tried to narrow down the days of mating so that I would know when the puppies would be expected. I knew it took nine weeks, or 63 days, so I figured out when she would deliver her puppies. At around six weeks I took her back to the vet. She didnt seem to be any bigger and there was no way for me to tell if she was pregnant or not. The vet did an x-ray and said that she was, indeed, pregnant. structured settlement cash said that he could only see one skeleton, but that he expected her to have several pups.

I was away during the next week and when I returned I could not believe my eyes. My managed hosting providers Yorkie had turned into a pumpkin! She was huge and had difficulty getting up and down the stairs. Meanwhile, the father-to-be was running around the house as though nothing had changed.

I made every try to stay home as much as possible during the last week, or at least to have anyone there. But one day I was gone for several hours and came home to find that she had given birth without waiting for me. There were fours puppies, but only one had survived. The other three had either been stillborn, or had suffocated when the mother had not removed the membrane that covers them at birth. I was heartbroken over the loss of these three perfect little creatures that never took a breath, but happy that the mother and surviving baby were doing fine.

I learned many lessons from that that I will consider in the future. The most important one is that you must not go away during the final days of your dogs pregnancy. You never know if she will need you during the birthing process.
